Simpson Memorial Library Author Talk

  • Simpson Memorial Library 8 Plymouth Road Carmel, ME, 04419 United States (map)

“Authors who write (or wrote) nature-themed fiction might be the true and trusted voices in the wilderness of modern life.” said Sandra Neily, Mystery Writers of America award-winning author of Deadly Trespass---reviewed as “. . . an environmental murder mystery, where the stakes are high and a vanishing world inspires violence.”

Join Neily as she discuss how, in the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson, "fiction reveals truth that reality obscures."

Deadly Trespass won a national Mystery Writers of America McCloy award, was a national finalist in the Women’s Fiction Writers Association’s “Rising Star” contest, and recently was a fiction finalist in Maine’s “Joy of the Pen” competition, as well as a finalist in the 2018 Maine Literary Awards.
